AFFORDABLE WOODEN DUMMIES
(NOTE) I apologize for having to take some personal time off for spinal surgery.
It will be a few months before I will be able to start up again if I have a successful surgery and rehab. I will try to put some notes in about little things that will help keep your jong looking good or keep it in good working order. At the very least I hope to start offering the reinforced arms as replacements for your wooden dummy.
I NOW MAKE ONLY THE WING CHUN WOODEN DUMMY. IN THE FUTURE I WILL ALSO SELL WHAT I HAVE IN STOCK AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE, SO THAT CUSTOMERS DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT.
As you know, I make the Mook Jong, or the more commonly known Wooden Dummy. I sell the more familiar "Wing Chun" style. I made my first Wing Chun dummy in 1977 and sold it in 2002, it was still good as new. I only had to re-finish it. I have made many more types of them over the last 36 years. I choose to laminate them because of wood checking, more commonly known as splitting. Kiln dried wood is best, but it is very expensive, I now use Lumber grade Fir and Pine to keep the cost down. The wooden arms are steel and resin reinforced (patent pending) the leg is (double laminated). So far, I have had no complaints.

The picture below is our best Wing Chun Dummy with reinforced wooden
arms and leg. We do not offer a standing support frame
at this time. The cost of fabricating and shipping makes the
cost of the frame unrealistic. You can make your own frame for
far less than I can. If you purchase a Dummy I will send you a
set of plans for the frame.
|The cost of a fully finished and stained wooden dummy is $650 That includes steel reinforced arms that are embedded in resin.|
|As I build my inventory I will be able to offer more pricing options to our customers.||
Please be aware of the cost of shipping!
I base the cost of shipping through UPS ground to your location.
